Description
Reinhard Suhren (April 16th, 1916-August 25th, 1984) was a German U-Boat commander and was awarded the Knights Cross for his contributions to the success of U-48 as its Torpedo-Weapons-Officer during the early war period. Serving under U-Boat commanders Schultze, Rösing and Bleichrodt, Suhren participated in the sinking of 200,000 GRT of shipping. This signed photo is a copy of an actual period photo. The signature is original. Good overall condition.
