Description
War Propaganda Leaflet About POWs, Two Words That Saved 1600000 Lives. This leaflet encourages German soldiers to surrender and become POWs under allied control. They will save their lives and be comfortable and well treated. Two words are Ei Sorrender. This was the way a German must pronounce in English, I Surrender. This leaflet would have been dropped by US bombers to encourage German civilians and soldiers to surrender. The paper could be turned in for safe passage. The appropriate size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches. Good condition for its age.
