Description
Exceptional private engraved WWII wrap brooch frosted Navy Issue Distinguished Flying Cross (in short case) to Aviation Machinists Mate 1st Class Donald Argersinger. He was a plane captain of a Navy Patrol Bomber in a low level attack on Marcus Island on May 9, 1945. Despite AA damage to his plane, he continued his attack causing considerable damage to the enemy. Lot comes with a stack of copied research.
