Description
WWII Aviation Print The First Mission July 4th, 1942, by Nixon Galloway Limited Edition 187/650 Signed by Nixon Galloway. The historic first combat mission, flown by the United States Air Force against the Germans during WWII, took place on the fourth of July 1942. Using Douglas A-20 Havoc, borrowed from the Royal Air Force, the Americans celebrated the occasion with low-level strikes against enemy airfields located in Holland. This print is made from an original oil painting by Nixon Galloway. This print comes with two informational pieces. Approximate size is 23 x 30 inches. This item is not perfect. There are a couple imperfections along the edge. This item will be shipped rolled.
