RARE WWII Joint US Army & Navy Book Allies & Axis Uniforms & Insignia #1. Ca. 1944. This volume was jointly published by the U.S. Army and Navy to provide American soldiers with a guide to the uniforms of enemy soldiers. It is heavily illustrated in full color and each page is dated with a month and year to indicate how current the information was at the time. A rather comprehensive guide compiled as a joint effort between the Army and Navy Intelligence Services. Excellent color photos. Unnumbered pages. Bound in the box by the black shoelace that came with this item. Excellent readable condition.
