Description
WWII – Korean War US Army Named Lt. Colonel Medal Group With Belgium Awards. WWII to Korean War group to Lt. Col. William R. Kern of Traer, Iowa, who was Assistant Adjutant General the 5th Major Port in Europe from 1942-45 and 8202nd AU in Far East Command, KMAG during the Korean War. Group includes his engraved Bronze Star, campaign medals, sterling CIB (not sure how this relates to his service- perhaps KMAG), Belgian Order of Leopold, Belgium Croix de Guerre, insignia and patches, and some copied research. Nice overall condition!
