Description
1905 German Karlsruhe Trench Art Shell Candle Stick Holder. Beautiful ornate design on the artillery shell casing. Marked XI 1905, C 97/98 and Crowned M. The crowned M is the Kaiserliche Marine (Imperial German Navy) arsenal’s acceptance stamp. The number 166 is the lot number of that batch of cases which were made during 1905. Excellent condition for its age.
