1945 CINCPAC Navy Telegrams About President Roosevelt FDR Death and the Nazi Resistance. (3) Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet Headquarters Telegrams. Two 1945 telegrams one from James Forrestal, Secretary of the Navy, tells about the death of President Roosevelt and that flags need to be placed at half mast for 30 days. The other message dated 8 May 1945 discusses victory over Nazi organized resistance. Nice readable condition.
