Description
WWII USAAF P-47 Fighter Data Plates Labels Crashed In France & Letter. Republic Model P47 Weight Data and Rigging Data Plates. The copy of the letter is from Sherman P. Sackheim who writes that a P-47 crashed in his “back yard” and the Pilot parachuted to safety. Sackheim salvaged these two items. Also included is a copy of a map showing the location of the downed plane in Bayon, France. Good overall condition.
