Description
Original WWII lot of Chief Boatswains Mate Garland Hill, a Pre WWII – WWII Coast Guardsman who died in Service in 1948 of a heart attack. He previously served during WWI and the Pacific in WWII, The group included his spectatular 1934 hand engraved and named CG Good Conduct medal with four bars- Sandy Hook Station, Arena Cove LBS, Bolinas Bay, and 12th District, wrap brooch USCG Expert Rifleman medal, thumbprint dog tags, discharge pins, early Surfmans insignia, five USCG Chief Petty Officer pins, and other items as shown.
