Description
Original 1949 letter transmitting Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal number 9088 to the wife of the late Sgt. Raymond Hollan, of Rochester, NY, who served in Haiti in 1915 and Cuba in 1919 with the 1st Marine Regiment. In Haiti, he participated in the capture of Fort Riviere. He died in 1938. The letter has been repaired at some of the folds with scotch tape.
