Army & Air Force General James H. Doolittle 1976 Signed Dedication Booklet. Signed on the front cover of the Dedication Ceremonies of the Lieutenant General James H. Doolittle Room and the Bicentennial Level by General Doolittle. James Harold Doolittle (December 14, 1896 – September 27, 1993) was an American military general and aviation pioneer who received the Medal of Honor for his daring raid on Japan during WWII. He also made early coast-to-coast flights, record-breaking speed flights, won many flying races, and helped develop and flight-test Instrument flying. Approximate size is 8.5 x 11 inches. Marks on the front cover most likely from age and handling.
