Description
Army General J. Lawton Collins 1947 Signed Card. General Joseph Lawton Collins (May 1, 1896 – September 12, 1987) was a senior US Army officer. During WWII, he served in both the Pacific and ETO, one of a few senior American commanders to do so. He was Chief of Staff of the US Army during the Korean War. This card was signed in 1947 when Collins was War Department Chief of Information. Approximate size is 3 x 5 inches. Signature is slightly smeared from handling. Also, glue residue on the reverse.
