WWII – Korean War Named Officer Armored 7th Infantry Division Purple Heart Medals, Bronze Star Medal & Document Archive. Named to John James Peattie. You will receive the following plus more – One numbered (190820) and unnamed Purple Heart and lapel pin (one PH with a case), Bronze Star Medal (not engraved), dog tags, DUIs (clutch and pin back, some have maker marks), rank insignia, Sterling CIB, 7th Infantry Patch, plastic coated ribbons with battle stars, promotion documents as a 1940 Corporal, 1940 Sergeant, 1941 Staff Sergeant, 1941 Second Lieutenant, 1946 Captain, 1952 Major and 1958 Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Documents, Discharge Documents, Retired documents as a Lt. Colonel in the US Army Reserve Armored Division, course completion certificates, Peattie’s Resume, WWII Military Record where he was attached to the 787th Tank Battalion, DD 214 document which lists his medals and his Wounds in Action “near Kyebong-San, Korea 18 May 1951”, foreign tags that this auction house in not sure the significance of the item, plus other certificates, documents and pins. Good condition for its age. Excellent certificates. Some certificates are not perfect. None the less, still a great looking group. The display case does not come with this item.
