Description
WWII US Army North Africa Italy Invasion Soldier Archive Dog Tags German Souvenirs. Named to Forrest V. Pierson who was attached to the 680th Ordinance Ammunition Company during WWII. In this group is a paper that reads the Troop Movements from 1942-1945. This group includes some of the following: German items include: 1938 KREISTAG WETTERAU BADGE Marked, “Wilh.A.Jäger Frankfurt A.M.” with pin-back device (poor condition) and German Metal Plates, dog tags (5), Good Conduct Medal and Lapel Pin, Ordnance collar Insignia, sterling mark man badge plus another badge, Ribbon bars (some coated in plastic with battle stars and arrow heads), a Purple Heart ribbon bar and fabric ribbon, patches (3rd Army, 7th Army & North African Theater), 200 plus photos (some photos describe the photo on the reverse), Son in Service banner, overseas bars, buttons, post cards, plus much more. Good and varying conditions for their ages. This a great group worthy of research. The display case does not come with these items.
