Japanese Imperial Order of the Rising Sun 3rd Class Medal Ribbon Badge with Case. Third Class Medium Cordon of the Rising Sun. This Japanese Imperial decoration was created in 1875 to be conferred upon individuals who had rendered distinguished service to the nation and people of Japan. Good condition for its age with the ribbon itself having wear from handling.
