Lot 19:
Paper Lot to Staff Sergeant Robert G. Martinson of Montana, a waist gunner in the 786th Bomb Squadron, 466th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force in WWII. He was shot down on April 11, 1944 and buried in the Netherlands. Group consists of his KIA presidential accolade, original Purple Heart Certificate from September 1945, and an original embossed letter awarding him the Purple heart, and copies of research. The accolade and Purple Heart certificate have some water staining and are wrinkles from age.
