Description
Interesting WWII 13th AAF / USSTAF Colonels uniform. It has a sewn on custom German made thin ribbon set, mini RAAF wings, 2 inch Amico Sterling Command Pilot wings, pin back Colonel rank, etc. There is no name or ID in the uniform as the tailor label was cut out long ago. It would appear that he was a WWI vet that left service between the wars, only to return to the 13th AAF in the Pacific and Europe. Good research project to identify the recipient.
