Description
WWI – WWII Father / Son Uniform group to Richard Wheatland II (WWII) and Stephen Wheatland (WWI). Richard served aboard the Destroyer Minelayer USS Harry F. Bauer which was present at Iwo Jima and Okinawa. His obituary stated he served aboard this ship during the War, and this auction house found a muster roll entry from 1946 showing his release from active duty. The WWI uniform is in very good condition, and the WWII gray has some spotty staining throughout.
