Description
WWII Army Air Corps 482 Base Headquarters & Air Base Squadron Guidon Flag Banner. The 482nd during WWII existed from 21 Dec 1942. Activated on 2 Jan 1943. Disbanded on 1 Apr 1944. The assignments during that time were IV Air Service Area Command, 2 Jan 1943; Ogden Air Depot Control Area Command (later, Ogden Area Service Command), 1 Feb 1943-1 Apr 1944. Stations include Hill Fld, UT, 2 Jan 1943-1 Apr 1944. Service Streamers include World War II American Theater. Size is 20 x 28 inches. Condition is worn with fading from age, small holes and missing threads. Not in perfect condition, but still a nice piece not seen on the open market.
