WWII 1943 Neptunus Rex USS Squires Equator Crossing. Named to M.M. Bralley. November 1943, The USS Squires bound SW for the Equator and the South Pacific. NOTE: it should be noted with full disclosure that the USS Squires existed during WWI. This auction house believes this ships name should had been the USS General G. O. Squier which was a transport ship during this time. You are bidding on this item ‘as is’ with this understanding in mind. Size is 15 x 19.75 inches. Faded and foxing from age and wear. Still readable.
