Description
WWII – Korean War group to T/Sgt. Edward J. Roggenbuck of Iowa. In WWII he served with the 346th Fighter Squadron, 350th Fighter Group, 12th AAF as a camera technician, and in the Korean War with the 4203rd Photo Tech. Sqdn., 5th Air Force. He was awarded an Air Medal for Korean War, and was wounded on 30 Sept. 1950 by flying plexiglass aboard a B-26 Aircraft. He was not issued his Purple Heart until 1963. Lot includes his named Air Medal and Purple Heart, Commendation Medal, Army and Air Force Good Conduct Medal, campaign medals, collar insignia, patches, and copies of many of his discharge records. The display case does not come with this group.
