Description
WWII group of Colonel Sanford W. French III of New Jersey. In WWII he was the Commanding Officer of the 81st Armored Medical Battalion, 11th Armored Division, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. Group includes his named slot brooch Legion of Merit, unengraved Bronze Star, Campaign medals, and an 11th Armored patch. The two unit citations appear to be newer additions by a previous owner. Comes with some research copies. The display case does not come with this group.
