Description
WWII – Vietnam group of Col. Woodford T. Moseley, who commanded a Chemical Mortar Unit in WWII through Sicily, Italy, Southern France, and Germany and then various Chemical units post War and into Vietnam. He earned a Bronze Star for Valor on April 17, 1945 near Fishback, Germany. When six 88mm German guns were located near his position he reconnoitered along fire swept roads for possible alternate gun positions. When his mission was complete, he aided mortar crews by directing fire and preparing ammunition. Comes with his engraved Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Medal, Commendation Medal, campaign medals, a Vietnamese made medal, etc. The Colonel rank are more modern additions. Comes with four medal boxes. The display case does not come with this group.
