Description
WWII era group from Sgt. John Elinsky, a 4th Infantry Division veteran who participated in five European campaigns to include the landing at Normandy on D-Day. The lot includes his hand engraved Bronze Star for Valor in box, machine engraved (1950s issue) Bronze Star in box, custom hand engraved Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, Sterling Combat Infantry Badge, campaign medals with the European African Middle Eastern Campaign medal having an arrowhead, a 4th Division patch, Presidential Unit Citation, and two cut out copies of articles about him regarding the War.
