Description
Original WWII produced, post war replacement Bronze Star engraved to Howard A. Kemble, a First Lieutenant in Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82d Airborne Division, recipient of a Silver Star, and later Killed in Action in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge. The lot comes with the cased medal, with 1950s – 1960s era blackened machine engraving, a copy of a newspaper article about him, and a copy of his Silver Citation on older paper. Good condition overall.
