Hampton who served in 8th Air Force in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) after his stint with the 6th Air Force where he made Lt Col and was placed in command of the Liaison pilots fighting with the Russians on the eastern front. The lot includes his 2 inch Blackinton Sterling senior pilot wings, full and shirt sized sets of sterling Colonel rank, his period hand engraved Bronze star, Next of Kin Dog Tag, ribbon bar, mini medals, and copy of his bronze star card.
