Description
World War II mountain goggles and leather case. This is a pair of goggles that were issued to Army men. The pouch is made of leather with cracks and has a one snap closure that is felt lined. It has 2 hidden pockets for extra green lenses, that are included. The goggles have lenses that are placed inside the goggles and under the glass outer lens. The frame unscrews to change the colored part of the lens. The goggles have an adjustable leather loop over the bridge of the nose and have the letters FGCO. FGCO stands for Foster Grant Co. The structure of the goggles are a green canvas with fur trim. Nice condition for its age. (III B 46)
