Description
WWII British modified Ike jacket to Seymour J. Eisen by name and serial number inside. British made ribbon bar. According to his obituary, On Feb. 5, 1945 his B24 bomber was shot down over the Adriatic Sea. While wounded he swam to three crew members and placed them on a broken wing of the plane until rescued 8 hours later; He was awarded numerous medals along with the Purple Heart and Soldiers Medal.
