Description
WWI US Brass style whistle and chain engraved to Sgt. Jack J. Inker of HQ Company, 326th Tank Battalion, Tank Corps. He sailed for France on Sept 25, 1918 and left Europe on April 20, 1919. His name, unit, and serial number are all engraved on the sides of the whistle, information independently confirmed on the transport rosters. He was a native of Los Angeles, CA and lived from 1889-1935. Comes with a museum card from a former display.
