Description
Original 1966 dated armored triangle shaped metal desk plaque to Brigadier General James L. Baldwin who at the time was the Assistant 4th Armored Division Commander for Support. In WWII he served as an intelligence officer with the 99th Infantry Division, during the Korean War commanded a battalion in the 24th Infantry Division, and then served as Commanding General of the 23rd Infantry Division from 1970-71 during the Vietnam War. Then Major General Baldwin was relieved of command and given a letter of admonishment for failing to prevent the attack on Fire Support Base Mary Ann. The scale of this item is shown in the photos.
