Description
Interesting group from US Army, OSS, and CIA Veteran Lt. Col. Charles Hendry. It comes with a bio card detailing his military and intelligence history to include service in the Office of Strategic Services in WWII, War Dept. Strategic Services Unit, the very early and short lived Central Intelligence Group, and Central Intelligence Agency. His obituary notes he served in various places in the military, and the "Defense Investigative Service, " but likely not he aforementioned information for operational security reasons. There is no database of CIA operatives, so it’s tough to confirm everything noted here. However, he is on the official government OSS roster by name and serial number, so that service is confirmed. Comes with a 1950 dated dog tag, his son’s US National dog tag, Major’s rank, 19th Military Police Bn (CID) collar brass, and a 2nd Infantry Division Patch. Worthy of more research if you have the right sources!
