Description
Group from US Army Major General George D. Shea. In WWII he was Commanding Officer of the 90th Infantry Division Artillery, then the Commanding General of the 141st Field Artillery Brigade of the XIX Corps, and from 1951-53 was Commanding General of the 10th Mountain Division. He earned two Silver Stars and a Purple Heart in WWI. Dog tag -Pair of Sterling Major General Stars -Pair of Sterling BG Stars -WWI Croix de Guerre Fouraggere with 17th FA and 2nd ID Devices -2nd Infantry Division Patch WWI -Misc. as shown-Custom one piece ribbon bar reflecting his service made by and added to this for display by the previous owner. -Thick binder containing copies of most of his pertinent service records, photos, award citations, biographies, etc. A LOT of time, energy, and money went into creating his records file.
