Description
Original cased WWII issue slot brooch Purple Heart medal with script engraving, in the original cardboard shipping box, to Sgt. Donald A. Bevilacqua, a right waist gunner on a B-24 that went missing between Italy and Austria on March 31st, 1945 as a member of the 767th Bomb Squadron, 461st Bombardment Group, 15th Army Air Force. The lot comes with some copied research and a page from his Missing Air Crew Report and medal card.
