Description
Vietnam lot from Lieutenant General Harris W. Hollis. In WWII he commanded a company in the 326th Glider Infantry Regiment in Europe. In November 1968 he became Deputy Commanding General, I Field Force, Vietnam and on 2 April 1969 assumed command of the 9th Infantry Division. Upon redeployment of the 9th Infantry Division from South Vietnam he assumed command of the 25th Infantry Division in September 1969. This group includes a framed under glass portrait photo, original embroidered theater made ribbon bar of his, stars, and other pins as shown. Also a 2nd Brigade, 25th Division plaque awarded to him.
