Description
Original post 1901 leather coin purse featuring a bust of the late President William McKinley. Issued shortly after his assassination. Still includes the orignal advertisement inside Welcome To Bethany at Lindsborg, Kas. It Is The Best. Portrait of McKinley in the center surrounded by patriotic motifs and the words "The Hero & Martyr That Died For His Country Sept. 14. 01.” 2.75 x 3 inches. Good used condition showing signs of age and handling.
