Popeye the Sailor Artist Bud Sagendorf Signed 1977 Comic. Forrest Cowles Sagendorf (March 22, 1915-September 22, 1994), better known as Bud Sagendorf, was an American cartoonist, notable for his work on King Features Syndicate’s Popeye comic strip. A certificate of authenticity does not accompany this piece. The size of this piece is 6.5 x 13 inches. Overall, good condition for its age. The glare or warped look is from the plastic over the piece for protection.
