WWII 1943 U.S. Navy. Named Patrol Squadron 15. Killed in Action KIA Document. Named to Lyle Victor Reid, Aviation Radioman who was Killed in Action on May 25, 1943 at Ireland Island, Bermuda. Reid was attached to Patrol Squadron 15 (VP-15). This unit was an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) unit. This item comes with the original mailing tube for the US Navy. Excellent condition for its age.
