Description
Disney Donald Duck Matted Pencil Color Concept Drawing. This piece and several other pieces are from Animator Cartoon Illustrator Carl Barks. This piece is how it came from the consignor; who mentioned they bought several pieces of Barks. A certificate of authenticity does not accompany this piece. The piece measures approximately 8 x 10 inches (border). Very good overall condition. We do not know what is on the reverse of the image since this piece is matted. Carl Barks (March 27, 1901 – August 25, 2000) was an American cartoonist, author, and painter. He is best known for his work in Disney comic books, as the writer and artist of the first Donald Duck stories and as the creator of Scrooge McDuck. NOTE: The blue color in this photo was from the lighting at the time the photo was taken. It is in fact white.
