Description
WWII 1943 Guinea Gold In The Field Newspaper Huge Lot. “In The Field” issues. You are bidding on the following issues: October 1-31, 1943 (missing October 5 & 18, 1943), November 1-30, 1943 (complete), December 1-31, 1943 (missing December 13, 1943). The Guinea Gold newspaper was published in Port Moresby, New Guinea, between 1942 and 1946, by the Australian Imperial Force. It was a daily newspaper that was read by Australian and American troops stationed in the area. These papers are grouped together and hole punched bound at the top. These newspapers are not perfect. There is yellowing from age and also imperfections such as tears and dog eared corners. They are still in good readable condition.
