Description
Animator Cartoon Illustrator Carl Barks matted cut signature adhered to the frame. This piece is how it came from the consignor; who mentioned they bought several pieces of Barks in this format. A certificate of authenticity does not accompany this piece mentioning this is an authentic signature and the drawing is a Carl Barks piece. The piece measures approximately 10 x 8 inches (border). Very good overall condition. Carl Barks (March 27, 1901-August 25, 2000) was an American cartoonist, author, and painter. He is best known for his work in Disney comic books, as the writer and artist of the first Donald Duck stories and as the creator of Scrooge McDuck.
