Description
Vietnam Era SS San Jose Merchant Cargo Ship Award of Honor Plaque. This plaque honors John C. Landry, Junior 2nd Assistant Engineer for his participation in the ship disaster as the Freighter SAN JOSE was on fire in the Pacific, November 1967 during Typhoon Gilda. See photo of the award for the detailed information on November 12, 1967. Approximate size is 13 x 11 inches. Included is also a booklet that gives the details of the SS San Jose. The condition is excellent.
