Description
WWII 1940 USS Seawolf (SS-197) a Sargo-Class Submarine Neptunus Rex Certificate. Colorized certificate named to F. Franz Jr.. SM2c. This particular certificate mentions that the USS Seawolf was at a depth of 263 feet in the Atlantic Ocean. Signed by Commander Frederick B. Warder who was a 2 time Navy Cross recipient and eventually became a Rear Admiral. Approximate size is 11 x 14 inches. The condition is fair with creases, dog eared corners, and soiling from handling and age.
