Description
Original battle used WWII flag from China sent to Dr. Clarence Rungee for his International flag museum, measuring 3 feet 11 inches by 6 feet. This comes with an Inventory sheet detailing its history, as well as an associated copy of a 1947 letter from a US Marine Corporal noting that this flag was flown at the Chinese – Japanese conflict at Chun-tun Province, China. The flag was retained by US Occupation troops having been given to them by a former POW at Tsingtaio, China. Poor condition with staining and tears throughout, as would be expected from a battle flown silk flag.
