Description
Original souvenir group taken by Lieutenant Dan Reed, Co. D., 386th Infantry Regiment, 97th Division in the Pacific. The group includes three folding hand fans (two are damaged), a 386th Infantry 1945 Christmas menu, Yank Down Under magazine, Japanese phrase book with his name written in it, and a wooden box with a comb, hair sticks, and other accessories in it. A few of the pieces are broken, but included, Also a laminated paper with some photos and a large flag (whereabouts unknown).
