Description
Joseph (Josef) Burschgens (1917-?). He was a German Air Ace scoring his 10 victories in the Battle of Britain. He was captured in 1940 and spent the rest of the war as a POW in Canada. After the war he would return to Canada with his family, eventually living there where he changed his first name from Josef to Joseph. This signed photo is a copy of an actual period photo. The signature is original. Good overall condition.
