Description
WWII 1944 British P-40E Kittyhawk Spotter Recognition Plane. These planes were produced by the Cruver Mfg. Co of Chicago, IL as indicated by the c inside the circle. They were used by military service members in aircraft recognition training programs. Made of celluloid acetate. Even though this aircraft is marked Kittyhawk on the bottom, the insignia attached is the Warhawk. Approximate size is 5 x 6 inches. Condition is good for the time period.
