Description
WWII letter group of about 28 pieces to Pfc. Alphonse J. Girard, 899th Tank Destroyer Battalion, from Rhode Island. He was in North Africa early in 1943 and in Italy in 1944. The letters are mostly censored versions from there, all written to his girlfriend.
