Description
Lot from Colonel Paul Youngs, who served as a US Marine Corps Aviator in the 1930s, then a noted Pan-Am Clipper Pilot thereafter until WWII, when he entered the USAAF as a Colonel. He was the Officer that coordinated with his Russian counterpart to facilitate the famed Russian Shuttle Missions. Group includes four of his log books, some are his USMC ones and one is his Clipper pilot book from the 30s. Also comes with pin back Meyer marked Command Pilot wings, Vanguard USMC Aviator wings, pin back sterling Colonel Eagle, a post card with him on it as a Pan-Am Clipper pilot, and copies of newspaper articles about him.
