Description
Original August 18, 1945 dated certificate awarded to US Army Air Forces Lieutenant Colonel Wilbert A. Speir, XII Tactical Air Command, citing him with the Order of Corps of the Army for expectional service rendered during the war in liberating France resulting in a Croix de Guerre with gold star. Signed by a French General, with the original document (not this one) signed by Charles De Gaulle. Measures just over 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
